Wildflower Meadow - Chambercombe Trust

Stage 1

We chose a spot in the field which was in a sunny position and then decided on the shape and size and put stakes in ready for the bed to be dug out.

Stage 2

We then squared the patch off and this was dug out just taking the top layer off with a digger.

Stage 3

We put in a path to make it easier to weed etc.

Stage 4

We planted numerous plants suitable for clay soil and also spread wildflower seeds.
